Richard Bonfiglio is Professor of English at Sogang University. Since joining the department in 2010, his research has focused on rethinking Victorian literature and culture in transnational terms by placing critical theories of empire, ecology, globalization, and cosmopolitanism in dialogue with affect, memory, gender, and sexuality. His articles have appeared in journals such as Victorian Literature and Culture, Nineteenth-Century Contexts, Dickens Quarterly, Modern Philology, and Victorians: A Journal of Culture and Literature.
